Customer Spotlight: Talk of the Town

At Casino Supply, we work with a lot of different and unique customers, from casino night party companies and small casinos to private individuals and custom table makers. Everyone of our customers is special, so we like to take a moment and showcase a few of those customers and share what makes these customers great.

What is the name of your company?

Our company name is Talk of the Town.

How long have you been in business?

We have been in business since April, 1993.

Where do you operate / what is your coverage area?

We operate in Maryland, Washington DC, and the Virginia areas.

What size events can you accommodate?

We have a large inventory of casino tables and a large number of trained dealers on staff. We also provide Bingo, Keno, Horse Racing Games, as well. During the holiday season, we could have up to 60 dealers working at a time.

Do you also provide any other services besides casino parties?

Yes, we provide a variety of interactive, fun entertainment and equipment for both social and corporate events – large moonbounces and inflatable games, mechanical rides, sports cages, team building activities, backyard games, arcade games, entertainers and performers, game shows, carnival games, concession foods, lounge furniture, movie screens, DJs and music, novelty entertainment, digital photography and photo favors, swimming pool and water activities.

What is your favorite thing about the casino party business?

Casino nights allow for the most people to be able to participate at any given time, for a relatively low cost (vs other entertainment.)

Casino games are a great interactive equalizer - they are the only time I see people from all different backgrounds, races, religions, social status levels, etc., that are not afraid sit with possibly total strangers and have a fun time interacting, playing and socializing. For example, at a law firm holiday party, generally, I have found the partners and administrative staff do not “mix and mingle” too much throughout the night. However, if you add casino gaming to the event, the partners and administrative staff will sit at the casino tables to play the games. The games become a vehicle for everyone to interact, get to know one another, and have a great time at the event.

What is the most memorable thing that has happened at one of your events?

We have had the privilege of working with many amazing not-for-profit organizations, helping them raise much needed funds for their causes. We are happy to help provide casino games and other entertainment, to help guests have fun and feel good about the time and money they spent at the event – more than just attending a dinner/dance event.
